Letting go, disengaging and shifting my focus to what made me feel alive. Working through (on paper) all of the trauma and abuse that led to my addictive traits. Owning what was mine, and letting the rest go. Resetting my compass on a day-to-day basis that kept me aligned and focused on what made me happy. I never looked back, I followed the northern lights! I didn’t give those negative thoughts the time of day…
